Program 2

12 days/11 Nights

Day 1:  Bangkok, 40 km ( D )

Arrive Bangkok.  Welcome and transfer to hotel,  check  in.,  no lunch,  dinner and night at hotel.

Day 2  We have 2 versions for you to choose.

Day 2:  (Version 1)   Bangkok/ Damnoensaduak / Grand Palace , 110 km  ( BLD )

After breakfast,  go to Taladnam Damnoensaduak.  You can walk around.  Then visit Nakhornpathom, see pagoda 127 meters height,  return to Bangkok.  Lunch in the city ( buffet. )   After that , visit Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha temple  ( Wat Phrakaew ), Wat Phrachetuphon Vimonmangkhalaram ( Wat Pho ),  dinner with dance show,  night at hotel.

Day 2:  (Version 2) Grand Palace-  Taladnam in the evening, t (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) typical Thai, 110 km ( BLD )

In the morning,  visit Grand Palace,  Emerald Buddha  temple, ( Wat Phrakaew ), Wat Phrachetuphon Vimonmangkhalaram ( Wat Pho ),  China town, lunch ( buffet ) .  In the afternoon, , Depature to Amphur Ampawa.  In the evening, visit evening Taladnam called  Venice Maeklong  . Riding a boat to see Thai culture along both banks of the river.  Dinner and night at Thai house or hotel.

Day 3:  Bangkok/ Ayutthaya / Nakhornsawan, 300 km ( BLD )

After breakfast,  go to Bang Pa In ,  visit summer palace ( Thai, Europe, China and Cambodia architectures.  Riding a boat to Ayutthaya,  follow the European way in 17 century, arrive at Ayutthaya, see ancient old city and many old temples (  Wat Yai Chai Mongkhol, Wat Na Phramain, Wat Mahathart,   Wat Srisanphet and  Wat Mongkholborphit .)  Lunch at local restaurant,  shrimp market,  main menu is grilled shrimps.  Then go to Lopburee,  monkey kingdom. Visit temples: Sarn Phrakarn,  Phra Prang Samyod,  Narai Rajanivet and Barn Wichai Yen.   After that, go to Nakhornsawan.  Dinner and  night at hotel.

Day 4:  Nakhornsawan/ Phitsanuloke/ Sukhothai/ Lampang 380 km, ( BLD )

After breakfast, tour around Nakhornsawan city, see fresh market and ride a boat to see the origin of the Chao Praya river and the way of life of villagers who live in the houses along the banks of the river. Continue to Phitsanuloke, see the most beautiful Buddha in the world, call Phra Phutthachinnarat at Mahathart  temple. Lunch at Sukhothai, main menu is Phatthai . Then ride a bicycle and see around ancient city. Then go to Lampang, pass village and green field where  Thai people have lived there  for a long time. After that, go to Lampang.  Visit Wat Phrathart Lampanglouang.  Dinner and night at hotel.

Day 5 :  Lampang/ Phayao/ Chiangrai  , 250 km  ( BLD )

After breakfast, visit Phra Kaew Dontao temple (Myanmar architecture ). See Mummy monk ( Luang Pho Kasemkhemto ) passed away in 1990 and  his body became rock.    See pineapple garden , taste pineapple. Then go ahead to Phayao,  visit Kwan Phayao.  Visit replica of heaven and hell at Srikhomkham temple.  Go to Chiangrai, lunch ( main menu is Tomyam Kung. )  Then ride a boat along the Maekok river to Rouammitr Karen, Akkha .  Ride tricycle back to hotel.  Dinner and night at hotel. Don't forget to go to night bazaar near the hotel.

Day 6 :  Chiangrai/ Golden Triangle/ Doi Maesalong ,110 km ( BLD )

In the morning,  go to Golden Triangle (  the place where Thai, Laos and  Myanmar meet. ) Then visit Doi Tung and   Doi Mae salong, visit Yao and Akkha.  Don't  forget to see tea plantation at Kok Mintan ( Chinese village ) , taste Oulong tea no. 12. Lunch ( main menu is Chinese set. ) In the evening, have a rest , see beautiful mountain view.   Dinner and night at hotel.

Day  7:  Doi Maesalong-Long neck( Femme Giraffe )- Thatorn-Chiangmai ,  300 km ( BLD )

Visit Lisou and Long neck Karen villages.  The real name of Long neck Karen is Padong.  They are one part of Karen who live in Myanmar. They have lived in Thailand for 30 years. They scattered in the northern part of Thailand, Maehongsorn and Golden Triangle.  The main and original reason of wearing these rings is to protect themselves from fierce animals that will bite their necks.  At present, this tradition is very strict.  They begin to wear the first ring when they are 5 years old. A voodoo doctor does wearing the ring ceremony for them. When they are adult, the ring will be 2-3 kilograms. (  It is very interesting. )  Then visit Thatorn temple on the hill,  from there you can see the Mae Kok river very clearly.  After that, see Chiang Dao cave and Hmong village, lunch ( main menu is Khaophat or fried rice.)  Arrive Chiangmai in the evening.  Dinner and night at hotel.

Day 8:  Chiangmai , 25 km ( BLD )

After breakfast ,visit Doi Suthep temple ( on the mountain ).  Lunch ( main menu is Khao Soy. )  In the afternoon,  visit handicraft village,  precious stone carving center, umbrella , silk , lacquer ware,  silver ware, wood carving  factories and etc,.  At night,  Khantoke dinner with  northern  Thai dances and hill tribe dances show.  Night at hotel.

Day  9 :  Chiangmai- Bangkok ,  60km to elephant camp ( BL )

After breakfast,  go to elephant camp,  see elephant working show, ride elephant 1 hour.  Then stop at orchid farm,

Lunch ( buffet. ).  Then transfer to Chiangmai International airport to Bangkok, Transfer to Montien Surawong or similar. No dinner, You can visit Bangkok by yourself. Night at hotel.

Day  10 :  Bangkok/  Kwai river,  200 km (BLD)

In the morning,  go to Karnjanaburee ( strategic city , very well known in World War 2 ),  the rails and the bridge construction crossing the Kwai river are very famous all over the world. These construction became legend in 20 century.  Then visit museum,  allie cemetery and the bridge.,  lunch.  After that, ride a train to waterfall,  cross the impressive bridge at Krasae village,  see Sai Yoke Noi waterfall .  Dinner and night at hotel.

Day  11 :  Kwai river, 45 km ( BLD )

In the morning , see monks feed a lot of tigers.  There are many wild animals at Luang Ta Mahabua temple. Lunch.  In the afternoon , see Muang Sing castle, Khmer temple.  Dinner and night at hotel.

Day  12:   Kwai river/  Bangkok International airport , 240 km ( BL )

Free day. Lunch and transfer to Bangkok International airport.  Dinner and night on board.
